About the event

Bees are one of the strongest threads in nature's complex web. This summer, spend the afternoon in OAK's kitchen garden with Elsie Boissevain who tends the veg patch and River Cottage's Rachel de Thample for a delicious and inspiring workshop celebrating bees and honey.

You'll be able to see the bees busy at work, we'll show you what you can plant at home to support pollinators as you tour the garden, and you'll make a bottle of honey herb vinegar and honey fermented jam to take home.

There'll also be tasters of honey treats from Rachel and the OAK kitchen team. Rachel will also have copies of her new book, River cottage Bees & Honey Handbook No.19
